Though we do see government banning child labor in some countries, it is still only on paper as in reality there are many under age kids working in restaurants, factories etc which is really bad. The respective government should take severe action on those people who take these kids for working in their premises. Once they announce ban on child labor, they should stick on to it and never allow these kids to work in their studying age. It will be good for our society if respective bodies see that these kids take up studies and become literate which will do good for respective countries also. So, it becomes everyone's responsibility now to see that kids don't get into work at young age and we have to inform the respective authorities if we find any child working anywhere against the law.
Because of the poverty, parents do force their kids to go for working instead of studying as they also will be unaware of many charitable institutions providing free education for those who cannot afford. We can at least take interest in informing these parents of such institutions to send them to charitable institutions to study instead of sending them to work. We can also donate some extra cash to such charitable institutions which are here for noble cause. Each and everyone should realize their responsibility in helping these kids for the future better world. When there is increased literacy in any country, its economy will also increase and when the opposite happens and there are lot of poor people, then economy will get a hit and the respective country will suffer because of poverty as a result economy will also decrease.
It is very uncomfortable scene to see kids working in their age of studying. Though media do highlight child labor once in a while, it is never taken seriously by anyone as it will also be forgotten in sometime and life will move on. Life has become very mechanical these days as people don't get time to think on all these matters or even to act on these matters. If the mind set of people change for good and start taking these matters seriously it will be good for everyone. We can just hope that sense will prevail and things will turn out positive in future.
